Within our Tech team, everyone takes great personal responsibility and ownership of initiatives and their areas of responsibility—this role combines backend development with some DevOps responsibilities. We are looking for someone who thrives in the space between product development and building and securing infrastructure. If you enjoy diving deep into backend code, databases, and improving scalability or refining CI/CD pipelines, this is the role for you. **What You Will Work On** - **Developing New Services**: Build and maintain the Doktor.se platform with microservices, database design, etc. - **Infrastructure and Security**: Develop and enhance our services in AWS and ensure that proper monitoring, security principles, and scalability are in place. - **Automation and Tools**: Simplify and improve CI/CD pipelines and processes, including "infrastructure as code." - **System Design and Architecture**: Contribute to the team's design and architectural discussions and ensure that we develop scalable and flexible services using best practices and modern technologies. **What We Are Looking For** - **Experience**: Ideally 5 years or more as a Backend Developer with experience in DevOps work, Infrastructure Engineer, or a similar role, particularly in AWS environments. - **Education**: University degree or equivalent experience. - **Programming Languages**: Our backend code is written in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), and we prefer you to have some experience with both. - **Cloud Services/Infrastructure**: You need to be familiar with AWS services (Azure experience is a plus) and manage them using Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, Terraform, CDK, GitHub Actions, and GitOps. - **Databases/Services**: You have experience with databases and can work with SQL, especially PostgreSQL. You should have a good understanding of how to best utilize AWS services and can set up services such as Redis, SQS, etc. - **Frontend/Fullstack**: Experience in front-end programming (full-stack) is a significant plus. - **Monitoring**: Experience in setting up and maintaining monitoring services such as Datadog. - **Security Mindset**: You prioritize security and have a solid understanding of how to secure your infrastructure against unauthorized access. - **Problem Solving**: Ability to identify and solve problems even outside your comfort zone. - **Ownership**: Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork, as well as experience working in agile environments. - **Language**: English is our primary language in tech, but knowledge of Swedish is an advantage. **What We Offer** You will be part of a close-knit and collaborative team, with a modern and inspiring work environment at our office on Sveavägen 63 in Stockholm.
