ABOUT THE POSITION
Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft, and we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client located in Sävastön, Boden. We have a vacant position of 63.75%. Distributed across 4 full-day shifts and 4 day shifts/4 weeks. Between 08:00-18:00, two assistants work simultaneously with the client.
Work hours are scheduled on both weekdays and weekends (every other weekend). Work hours are structured as follows:
• 08:00-18:00 (double assistance)
• 08:00-08:00 full day (8 hours waiting time/day shift)
Commencement will be by agreement, with preference for starting introduction in August.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a woman in her 50s who needs your help as an assistant to live the best life possible. As an assistant, you will help her with daily tasks and activities, trying to motivate participation according to her capabilities.
Listening to music, watching TV, and walks are activities the client enjoys doing together with the assistant. Our client has Autism, Fragile X syndrome, and an intellectual disability. She has limited verbal ability and communicates primarily through sounds and body language. The assistance assignment is of a supervisory and guiding nature.
Work tasks include:
• Support with daily routines, household chores, and activities
• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meal situations
• Motivation, guidance, and structure
The client uses a wheelchair and electric wheelchair.
ARE YOU THE ONE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
To thrive with our client, you should be self-confident, a good team player who works well with colleagues. You should be communicative and able to adapt your activity level to the client's needs, sometimes requiring long periods of stillness and quickly switching to activities needing supervision. You should be good at reading people and enjoy working preventatively. We also seek someone with basic cooking skills, as home-cooked meals are important to the client.

• Very good Swedish language skills
MERITS
• Previous experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare
• Experience with Autism/Fragile X/Intellectual disability
• Driver's license (B) and access to a car
• Basic cooking skills
Employment rate: 63.75%
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation according to collective agreement.
