ABOUT THE POSITION Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft, and we are currently seeking someone to work as a personal assistant at 70% or as a substitute for our client on Sävastön in Boden. The working hours are scheduled as day shifts from 08:00 to 08:00, with 8 hours being on-call overnight. The work is scheduled on both weekdays and weekends. Start date is to be agreed upon, and we would prefer you to begin the introduction as soon as possible. ABOUT THE CLIENT The client is a man in his 30s living independently on Sävastön. He has autism, multiple sclerosis (MS), and an intellectual disability, and therefore needs your assistance to live a meaningful life based on his needs and wishes. His interests include listening to music, cartoons, video games, and going for walks. The tasks include: • Support in daily routines and household chores • Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and exercise • Transfers using aids such as ceiling lifts, manual wheelchairs, and electric wheelchairs • Use of communication aids such as written schedules and social stories, among others ARE YOU THE ONE WE'RE LOOKING FOR? To provide the right support for the client's physical needs, you must have the ability to establish contact and communicate in a responsive manner. We expect you to be clear in your communication and to have a low-arousal approach in your interactions with the client. It is important that you can contribute to security and structure, as the client needs predictability in daily life. We would also appreciate a sense of humor and a playful side—being able to joke and have fun together will be a valuable part of the relationship once you get to know each other. REQUIREMENTS • Experience in caregiving PREFERENCES • Experience as a personal assistant • Care education or equivalent • Experience in nursing • Familiarity with transfers and the use of lifting and transfer aids • Knowledge and experience working with autism, MS, or intellectual disabilities Employment rate: 70% and substitutes Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
