About the Position As Contract Manager at Svenska Kraftnät, you will be involved in Sweden's largest and most complex infrastructure projects in the coming years and contribute to future electricity supply. You will work and exchange experiences with colleagues who have long-standing industry experience. The Contract Management Unit at Svenska Kraftnät is tasked with supporting our programs and projects regarding contract-related work, specifically managing construction agreements and coordinating other contracts, excluding contractor agreements. The position thus encompasses: • Managing construction agreements by being responsible for the template, ensuring it is updated, and supporting Project Managers, and to some extent program and main project managers, in contract development, interpretation, or disputes with assistance from support functions like legal. • Developing and ensuring systematic and structured work with Svenska Kraftnät's contracts in investment activities to improve financial and operational results and minimize risks. You are expected to work with your immediate manager to continuously develop the role, which will include contract coordination and support for programs and projects. You will primarily work with employees in the Network Division, but cross-functional and external contacts may occur. In the Contract Manager role, with the understanding that it is still being established, we expect you to: • Manage and develop the Construction Agreement Template for Station Projects • Support program, main project, or project managers regarding construction agreements by providing interpretation and advisory services when needed • Assist program, main project, or project managers in their responsibilities and, together with the legal unit, ensure contract terms • Coordinate and support various contract management processes • Participate in developing future systems, such as a contract database • Serve as the connecting link between projects and Svenska Kraftnät's legal team Work proactively with contract managers and other functions to improve contract documents, working methods, and methodologies. About You Mandatory Requirements: You have a systematic and structured approach, being meticulous yet efficient and results-oriented. You possess integrity and are comfortable in uncertain contexts. You have relevant academic education or equivalent competence acquired through alternative means. Additionally, you have: • At least 5 years of experience working in large, technology-intensive infrastructure sectors like road, rail, electricity, or similar • Multiple years of contract management experience • Excellent administrative skills • Proficiency in MS Office programs • Excellent Swedish language skills (spoken and written) and English proficiency We consider experience with standard contracts and public sector/negotiation background as advantageous.
