Welcome to Us The Procurement Department at the Service Administration plays a crucial role in the city's work of contributing to a qualitative, sound, fair, and sustainable societal development through its procurement processes. We have specialists in all parts of the procurement process. We currently have around 60 employees, including the business manager and unit managers. We have recently reorganized for increased efficiency and focus. The operation currently consists of a business support unit and three category-based units, as well as a preparedness and security function. The role is placed in one of our three category-based units where category leaders, procurement specialists, contract managers, and e-commerce administrators closely collaborate to ensure project progression. Your Role As a contract manager, you have overall responsibility for contracts within your area of responsibility throughout the entire process from implementation to closure. Your primary tasks involve: - Proactively and continuously following up on contracts that the city has with respective suppliers - Ensuring that parties adhere to the contract and contribute to quality-assured deliveries - Communicating about contracts with our city customers in a target group-adapted manner - Cross-functionally collaborating with category leaders, procurement specialists, and e-commerce managers - Negotiating, following up statistics, and handling administration Your Competence and Experience We are seeking someone who: - Has several years of current experience in independent work as a procurement specialist in a complex organization - Is comfortable interpreting and explaining contract terms - Has good experience negotiating within agreed terms - Has high IT maturity; familiar with IT-based tools for procurement, contracts, and case management, good knowledge of the Office package, and experienced working with large data sets - Has a relevant post-secondary education, or equivalent experience that we assess as equivalent - Has very good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish It is meritorious if you have: - Worked according to the Public Procurement Act - Worked in a municipality - Good project management skills To thrive in the role, you need to be communicative, attentive, and adaptable to the recipient.
