Welcome to us Do you have experience working with contract agreements? We are looking for someone who wants to grow in a broad role as a contract manager. With us, you will take significant responsibility for the City of Stockholm's operation and maintenance agreements for road signs, railings, portals, street name signs, and flagging—an exciting agreement that touches many parts of the organization and creates real community benefits. The Supervisory and Operations unit is part of the Urban Environment Department, consisting of a total of 17 driven employees who perform important work directly connected to citizens' everyday lives. Currently, there are nine contract managers within the unit. Each contract manager has their own operational agreement but shares knowledge and supports each other on various issues. The operational agreements currently managed by the unit include public toilets, graffiti removal, wildlife management, pest control, road markings, road signs, railings, portals, street emergency services, and the city's flagging. The unit's responsibilities also include supervision and inspection of the street environment as well as bike emergency services. Your role As a contract manager, you will be responsible for operation and maintenance agreements for road signs, railings, portals, street name signs, and flagging, alongside a colleague. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring the contract agreement, both continuously and proactively. - Assigning penalties for deficiencies in the supplier's performance. - Communicating with suppliers, citizens, and other departments within the City of Stockholm. - Budgeting and forecasting. - Collaborating, coordinating, and communicating with internal and external parties. - Contract development. - Participation in new contract procurements. The role is characterized by independence and requires a strong personal drive, while you will have close support from the unit manager. Your qualifications and experience To succeed as a contract manager, you need to have: - Post-secondary education and/or experience deemed relevant by the employer for the role. - Current experience with independent responsibility for contracts. - Experience in contract monitoring. - Familiarity with IT-based tools for contracts. - Proficiency in Excel. - Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. - A valid driver's license (B). It is advantageous if you have: - Experience with contract agreements and contract monitoring. - Experience working in public administration. - Experience with constructions in urban environments, e.g., railings and portals. - Local knowledge of the City of Stockholm. - Participation in procurements. - Knowledge of contract law, AB 04, ABT 06, and AFF.
