About this role
**Sector Waste & Water Management within Technical Administration** is a workplace with 110 dedicated employees who together drive the development towards a more sustainable Östersund. We are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's water and sewage systems, waste facilities, and recycling centers – and we are facing an exciting future with many important initiatives.
**Your New Job**
As a Waste Advisor focused on customer engagement, you will primarily work with dialogue, advice, and information initiatives directed at customers, housing cooperatives, and community associations. The role emphasizes creating engagement and understanding for property-based collection (FNI), and supporting customers in meeting applicable requirements and guidelines.
**About the Property-Based Collection (FNI) Project**
The government has decided that all households must be offered property-based collection (FNI) of packaging by January 1, 2027, at the latest. In Östersund municipality, this means that waste collection for single-family homes, vacation homes, and multi-family buildings will be expanded in the coming years. The project extends until December 31, 2026.
**Common Tasks**
- Provide advice and create sustainable solutions for customers regarding waste management.
- Plan and conduct information meetings and engage in dialogue with customers and residents.
- Follow up to ensure customers meet the requirements for property-based collection of packaging.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders regarding operations, collection, and maintenance.
**Your Competence**
**Requirements**
- Work experience in advisory roles and/or sales, preferably in environmental or waste management services.
- B driver's license.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
**Meritorious**
- Previous work in customer service, municipal waste management, or property management.
- Experience in leading meetings and information sessions.

**About Technical Administration**
