Your mission As department head, you will belong to the department for cyber operations. The department conducts signal intelligence in defense intelligence operations. It also contributes to strengthening the protection against sophisticated IT attacks from abroad for the most vulnerable operations in Sweden. Furthermore, the department is responsible for tasks in the field of cryptology and secure cryptographic functions. In the role of department head, you have operational responsibility for the cyber department and report directly to the agency's director general. Your responsibilities include: - Personnel responsibility for the department's office managers - Cost and budget responsibility for the department - Management of the department's work (responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget) - Participation in the agency's management group and assisting the agency leadership in leading the organization as a whole - Strategic further development of the operations - Leadership and further development of the department's managers - Ensuring the department's competence supply Travel, both domestic and international, may occur in this position.
