The Swedish Companies Registration Office is an authority located in Sundsvall with the mission to ensure quality, register, and provide corporate information. We are working to further develop our crime prevention initiatives with a focus on control, in-depth review, collaboration, and information supply. We also aim to leverage the opportunities of digitalization to enhance our analytical capabilities. Currently, we are building an important operation and developing a new service for coordinated register control in public procurement—an initiative that contributes to increased security and trust. Concurrently, we handle cases related to the dissolution of companies, corporate mortgages, and other related areas. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Crime Prevention Department is tasked with overseeing the Companies Registration Office's crime prevention efforts. This includes developing control systems to ensure quality and accuracy, managing and identifying deviations, as well as analyzing and addressing risks. Additionally, the department is responsible for registering corporate information related to company dissolutions, managing registers within the anti-money laundering area, and collaborating and supplying information to other authorities in the field. The department also ensures quality assurance and registration of corporate information related to company dissolutions, encompassing case management, customer service, and all services within the area. The department consists of five units: two control units, two units for company dissolutions, and one unit working on the establishment of coordinated register control in connection with procurement. The department employs five unit managers and approximately 60 staff members. As the department head, you will have a strategic and overarching role with responsibility for budget, results, and personnel. You will inspire and engage to meet current and future needs and create a work environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, and a focus on development. The department started on January 1, 2025, and is in a phase of establishment where leadership plays a central role in creating favorable conditions for the future. You will report to the Director General and be part of the Companies Registration Office's strategic management group, where you will collectively be responsible for the implementation of the authority's mission. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • An academic degree in economics, law, social sciences/political science, or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer. • Experience working as a manager with personnel, budget, and operational responsibilities. • Good knowledge of and experience in state or other public operations. • Experience in strategic development and change initiatives on a larger scale with a focus on crime prevention work. • Experience in larger, strategic collaborative efforts. • Excellent ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. We consider it an advantage if you have: • Experience in a managerial role within an organization with multiple management levels. • Experience in larger strategic development projects.
