About the Assignment The department is responsible for comprehensive physical planning, detailed plans, land and exploitation issues, environmental strategic issues, as well as mapping, measurement, and GIS. You will report to the department head and be part of the Technical and Community Development Administration's management team. As the head of the department, you have direct responsibility for work environment, budget, operations, and personnel. The position involves leading and supporting a dynamic work group currently consisting of approximately twelve employees who together have broad experience and expertise to advance Håbo's community development. You will drive, develop, and follow up on operations towards set goals. You will prioritize and ensure the implementation of political and statutory assignments. You will actively work to build and maintain a good work environment where employees grow and feel participation. You are responsible for driving, developing, and following up on operations towards the municipality's goals, ensuring quality in the planning and exploitation process, and contributing to sustainable community development. The role involves strengthening the connection between teams in the department, other departments, and politics. You will work in close collaboration with politicians, other administrations, the business sector, and external actors. Qualifications Requirements - Experience in physical planning and exploitation - Experience working in a politically governed organization - Good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act and the urban planning process as a whole - Degree in a relevant field such as architecture, physical planning, urban planning, land surveying, civil engineering, or other academic education deemed equivalent by the employer - Knowledge of geodata, mapping, measurement, and land strategic issues Meritorious - Experience as a manager in public sector - Experience working with goal management in multiple projects - Experience in sustainable community building - Experience with mapping/measurement/GIS You are a secure, attentive, and coaching leader who creates engagement and builds trusting relationships.
