The Healthcare Administration brings together primary care, dental care, and hospital care in a shared administration, organized into county and local healthcare areas. In the Skellefteå local healthcare area, this includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units work to provide good and accessible care.
Anderstorp Health Center is one of four health centers in the Skellefteå South Primary Care Area. Other units in the area include Bureå, Lövånger, and Burträsk Health Centers.
At the health center, we focus on health promotion and always prioritize the patient. Good accessibility, quality, and operational development are therefore high priorities. As part of our team, you play a crucial role in this work. The health center is located near Skellefteå city center, with the river and forest just around the corner. New housing is being built nearby, and the area features a vibrant and growing commercial district.
We are now seeking a Department Head who, in close collaboration with a fellow manager, will lead and develop the organization together with the health center's 55 employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Department Head, you will see the big picture and potential, and courageously move us forward.
You will act as a role model, work to create shared visions, and unleash action potential in your organization. You will challenge and develop, as well as encourage and highlight your employees. You will take responsibility for your area based on your authority and represent the employer by leading and developing towards agreed goals for the region's best interests.
The role includes personnel management, workplace environment responsibility, and financial responsibility for the organization. You will actively participate in the South Primary Care management group and continuously collaborate with fellow managers and other professionals within your own organization and the other two areas of Skellefteå and Norsjö primary care. The job also involves collaboration with colleagues in hospital care and municipal care and support services.
Your task is to create the best conditions for employees to do a good job, together with your fellow Department Head. Workplace environment and patient safety are important focus areas. Focus on job satisfaction and quality are integrated into your leadership. You will plan, lead, and drive the organization forward in accordance with agreed goals and assignments, and be responsible for daily operations at the health center. As a Department Head, you will also be part of the health center's patient safety team and quality council. Other tasks include employee discussions, performance reviews, recruitment, and staffing.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with relevant higher education or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Leadership training and experience in healthcare, particularly primary care, are advantageous.
We prefer candidates with previous management experience and change management skills. A B driver's license is desirable. The ability to communicate with people who have a native language other than Swedish is also desirable.
We seek someone who values collaboration and is motivated by development. You are proactive and motivated by future visions that you follow up with an implementation plan. You are open and share your experiences, thoughts, and reflections to lead the organization into the future. You have a smooth and clear communication style.

The management role within Region Västerbotten is typically a time-limited appointment of 4 years, combined with a permanent position in your area of expertise.
