Avarn Security is now looking for a strategic and engaged CISO who wants to take a comprehensive approach to information security, combined with related issues in security protection, preparedness, security, and total defense in a rapidly changing environment.
About the Position

In this role, you will:
• Develop and drive the company's strategy for information security.
• Work broadly with security protection, internal security, preparedness, and total defense.
• Raise awareness within the organization through training and communication.
• Participate in industry forums and collaboration meetings where you represent Avarn.
• Translate complex security issues into business-oriented strategies that make a difference.
You will be part of Operational Support, where the Security Department is one of several specialist functions that support the entire company. Here, you will work closely with highly skilled colleagues towards a common goal – to create a safer Sweden.
Your Background
We are looking for someone who has:
• Relevant academic education in information security, security protection, preparedness, or total defense – or equivalent experience that Avarn deems relevant.
• Extensive experience in the security and surveillance industry.
• Documented experience in driving development work.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS2, CER, LIS, and other security frameworks.
• Valuable experience in risk management, regulatory issues, total defense, continuity planning, and quality management systems.
