Automation Technician to ReEnerfy - Malmö

What we are looking for We are currently seeking Automation Technicians for assignments with our client in Malmö. Responsibilities in this role As an Automation Technician in this position, you will be the operational automation expert in a competent Service and Installation team. Together, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and service of the client’s proprietary labeling machines and thermal transfer printers. The role involves practical, independent work, with the majority of your time spent traveling internationally to end customers to perform commissioning, upgrades, and maintenance work. Between your travels, you will also engage in machine development and remote support of machines. More specifically, the role includes: • Being responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and installation of automation technology and proprietary machines at the end customer’s site. • Programming and implementing upgrades for machines. • Managing subsequent technical administration. • Assisting with training and support efforts directed towards the end customers' maintenance technicians who work with the machines on an ongoing basis. • Collaborating with the internal design and assembly department in the development of machines. You will be offered the training necessary regarding the various products to assist customers with the right competencies. Since your days are not always planned in advance, it is essential that you are flexible and can quickly adapt to address the immediate requirements. You possess a strong work ethic and understand the importance of respecting your customers by being communicative, meticulous, taking responsibility to be on time, and performing the necessary work to ensure that customers can operate smoothly. Your background and qualifications: • Strong knowledge of automation technology, programming, fine mechanics, and electronics. • Experience in fieldwork related to electrical work, assembly, service, or similar is an advantage. • Knowledge in troubleshooting, upgrade work, and commissioning. • Familiarity with more than one control system, such as Siemens, ABB, Mitsubishi, etc. • A valid driver's license (B). • Good computer skills. • Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English. Desirable qualifications: • Experience with drive systems (servo/stepper motors). • Programming skills in PLC (Siemens TIA portal) and/or Codesys. • Experience with Modbus TCP, OPC UA, Profinet, HTML 5. • Experience with Bosch Rexroth CtrlX and/or EVER systems. • Experience with vision systems or similar.
