Then this role might be perfect for you. About the Facility You'll work in a modern, highly automated logistics facility spanning over 100,000 m², equipped with cutting-edge automation technology. The facility handles dry, chilled, and frozen storage with a clear focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. Your Role As an Automation Technician, you'll be a key team member ensuring automated systems operate safely and efficiently – from startup and monitoring to troubleshooting and planned maintenance. You'll work closely with production in a dedicated team alongside operations and maintenance colleagues. The automation environment includes high-bay warehouses, conveyors, and crane systems. Example Responsibilities: • Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on automation and peripheral equipment • Monitoring production flows and managing operational disruptions • Working in various temperature zones (dry, chilled, and frozen) • Collaborating with operations, safety, and external suppliers to optimize availability and operational reliability Who We're Looking For This is a practical, active role involving work in high-bay warehouse environments, mezzanines, and service corridors. We're seeking candidates who: • Are not afraid of heights and feel comfortable working at elevation (with proper safety procedures) • Are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work • Have an interest in computer-controlled systems and can read HMI/SCADA and logs • Work systematically, take responsibility for safety, and enjoy problem-solving in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in warehouse or industrial automation (e.g., crane systems, conveyors, robotics) • Electrical or automation technical education or equivalent experience • Familiarity with working in environments with varying temperatures (chilled/frozen) Why You Should Apply You'll become part of a modern, technology-intensive operation where automation and sustainability go hand in hand.
