Automation Technician with a Focus on Electrical

ABOUT THE POSITION As an Automation Technician focused on electrical systems, you will be part of a team where both electricians and mechanics collaborate. The work primarily involves the service and maintenance of machines and auxiliary equipment, both in the form of planned interventions and emergency measures. In some cases, installations and minor renovations may also occur. The role is versatile and offers excellent opportunities for growth and development within the profession. Troubleshooting is partly done through PLC systems, but much of the work involves practical, manual problem-solving, for example on frequency equipment. WORK TASKS Responsibilities * Work with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance * Manage electrical and control technology components such as PLC * Troubleshoot and service machines * Perform measurement and verification of electrical installations WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Have an education in Electrical and Automation or equivalent - Have good knowledge of control and regulation technology - Have experience with frequency converters, motor control, and starting equipment - Possess practical skills in measuring and verifying electrical installations - Can read electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, and PLC documentation - Understands and applies safe shutdown, isolation, and measurement before work - Have knowledge in handling measuring instruments - Have knowledge in pneumatics related to electrical control - Have experience in troubleshooting in a PLC environment - Have a technical interest and practical skills—this should be clearly stated in your application - Are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written - Have a valid driving license (Category B) It is beneficial if you have - Experience working with pneumatics - A few years of experience as a technician, industrial, or service electrician - Experience reading electrical diagrams and PLC programming - Knowledge in machine construction - Experience in the production industry with electrical maintenance and fault correction - Previous experience in the plastics industry - Experience following the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority's regulations (ELSÄK-FS) and the Electrical Safety Act - Experience installing cabling, motors, sensors, lighting, outlets, etc. - Authorization AL (general low voltage) To succeed in this role, you possess the following personal qualities: - Helpful - Organized - Intellectually curious OTHER - Random drug testing will be conducted on the staff - Alfapac is located in Åsbro - it is important that you have a plan for how to commute to and from the workplace as the working hours do not align with public transport - You will be working in warm environments, so it is important that you are comfortable with this - On-call duties during weekends may occur OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, and our client's request is that all questions regarding the position be sent to Academic Work.
