Axjo has 35 molding machines, nearly 45 robots, and an automated assembly department. We are continuously developing and constantly seeking ways to optimize and improve our operations and work processes.
As an automation technician with us, you will work closely with production, and your primary mission is to ensure high operational reliability in our automated systems. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and further develop our robot cells and automatic equipment to continuously improve efficiency and quality in production.
Your tasks:
• Troubleshooting robots and automation equipment during downtime or disruptions
• Improvement work and optimization of robot programs and processes for increased performance and stability
• Identify and analyze operational disruptions, both acute and recurring, and propose long-term solutions
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and technical teams to drive improvement projects
Who we are looking for:
• Have experience working with industrial automation and robotics. We primarily work with Wittman and ABB.
• Are technically curious and enjoy troubleshooting, improving, and finding creative solutions instead of seeing problems.
• Understand control systems and can perform basic programming of Siemens PLC, HMI, and OPC.
• Have an understanding of pneumatics and electrical diagrams.
• Thrive in a high-paced environment with varied work tasks.
We welcome applications regardless of work time preferences, but if you can work continuous 2-shift, that is a plus!
Apply for the position no later than 11/30. Questions can be directed to Production Technical Manager Richard Åqvist at 073-623 28 93.
