Automation Engineer Role In your role as an automation engineer with us, you will have a varied workday. Your position will include: • PLC programming • Performing electrical installations, commissioning, and capacity testing at our factory in Kopparberg and at our customer sites • Preparing and ordering electrical components (designing electrical cabinets to be produced by IMH or selected suppliers) • Customer support (phone, computer, or on-site) • Participating in projects involving new product development, phasing out, or changes to product lines, including associated equipment • Product testing and demonstration • Performing service and upgrade jobs at our existing customer sites Initially, you will need to be on-site in Kopparberg, where you'll have the opportunity to learn our machines and systems by directly working with them in production. We offer wellness benefits, have a collective agreement (Technology Agreement), and shortened working hours. Who are we looking for? To succeed in this role, we seek a solution-oriented team player who understands the importance of collaboration. With several years of experience in PLC programming, you feel confident in your knowledge but maintain a humble attitude and willingness to develop professionally. You are service-minded and able to communicate both internally and externally, both verbally and in writing, and value good relationships. While we place great value on your actual experience, your personality, attitude, and drive will be crucial to us.
