Responsibilities As an automation engineer with us, you will work on various projects – from concept idea to commissioning. You will combine technology, creativity, and customer dialogue, often in close collaboration with colleagues in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering. • Create technical concepts and solutions across different industries • Program PLCs • Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning • Engage in dialogue with customers and suppliers • Contribute to planning, reporting, and knowledge sharing Qualifications We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, technology, and thrives in a role where you can both think and do. In addition to your personal qualities, we want you to have: • Relevant engineering degree • At least 3 years of experience with PLCs • Good understanding of automation, as well as electrical and mechanical systems in the manufacturing industry • Experience with systems from Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, and similar • Experience in electrical design using Eplan or Elprocad is an advantage • Knowledge of machine safety and CE marking is a plus • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written An exciting journey with Knightec Group Semcon and Knightec have merged to form Knightec Group.
