Description The Hearing Care Unit operates throughout the Västra Götaland Region, providing support and treatment to individuals with permanent hearing impairment, deafness, and deaf-blindness of all ages. The Hearing Care Unit in Southern Älvsborg has clinics in Borås and Alingsås. Collaboration occurs with Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinics, other Habilitation & Health units, user organizations, colleges, and universities. We are seeking a licensed audiologist for a permanent position at our Audiology Clinic, primarily located in Alingsås. Job Responsibilities As an audiologist in our unit, you will work with both audiological diagnostics and rehabilitation. Interventions are based on a holistic approach where the audiologist collaborates with other professional categories and patients/relatives. Qualifications You must be a licensed audiologist. We are seeking someone interested in clinical work in hearing diagnostics and rehabilitation. Great importance is placed on good collaboration skills and personal suitability. It is important that the candidate fits into the work group and wants to be part of the future development of the unit. Experience working with Auditbase, Noah, and Melior is meritorious.
