About the Position
As an assistant facility manager, you are a key person in the daily operations of our facility. You will work closely with the facility manager to ensure smooth operations, motivated staff, and the best possible experience for members every time they walk through the door.
The position is 50% with varying work hours, including evenings.
Responsibilities
• Assist the facility manager in daily facility operations
• Be a role model for the team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Actively work with member service and sales (fitness cards, personal training, shop)
• Help with scheduling and staffing
• Contribute to planning and executing activities and events
• Monitor facility condition and ensure a pleasant environment
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Lead group training or introductions when needed

• Is fitness-enthusiastic with genuine commitment to health
• Has previous experience in service roles (preferably in the fitness industry)
• Is a confident and responsible person with the ability to lead others
• Enjoys working goal-oriented and likes to see results
• Communicates easily and can create connections with members and colleagues
• Likes structure, is solution-oriented, and dares to take initiative
• Is flexible and not afraid to pitch in where needed
• Has a driver's license (meritorious)
