At the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, we provide regional and county healthcare in oral surgery and orofacial medicine. The catchment area for regional care is the healthcare region of Central Sweden, which is one of six healthcare regions in Sweden and the second largest, with 2.1 million inhabitants. The services are offered as inpatient and outpatient care, as well as day surgery. Special focus areas include reconstructive, trauma, and jaw joint surgery. The department also conducts specialist training in the field of oral surgery and orofacial medicine. To achieve this, we focus on the patient and work with a flexible approach, with engaged staff and intensive research and development efforts.
The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is part of the Head, Neck, and Plastic Surgery Business Area, Specialized Care Area. The business area has approximately 240 employees.
Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the county's three acute hospitals where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. Job Responsibilities
As an assistant dentist, you will work with dentoalveolar surgery, day surgery, and inpatient care. We offer individual development opportunities through work with experienced specialist teams and an exciting and stimulating hospital environment. You will receive guidance from experienced colleagues at the clinic.

Qualifications
You are a licensed dentist. Experience in oral surgical practice is an advantage, as is day surgery work. You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
We are looking for someone who is positive and driven and who wants to develop in oral surgery. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. You are attentive and work well with others. You are flexible in your perspective and see opportunities in changes.
