Assistant - Temporary Position

The unit is responsible for Västra Götaland Region's "Guidelines and Standards for Physical Accessibility" and for the Accessibility Database – TD. The main mission is to work in various ways towards an accessible and usable physical environment within the operations owned, contracted, or financed by VGR. The Accessibility Database (TD) is currently the largest database in Sweden that provides information to residents and visitors about physical accessibility in everyday life. There are currently over 60 partners using TD, ranging from Luleå Municipality in the north to Region Skåne in the south. **Job Responsibilities** In your role as an assistant, you will participate in surveys of the physical accessibility in the region's facilities. This involves dialogue and collaboration with the operations in the region. You will have many points of contact as you play an important role in liaising with our partners. You will coordinate and be responsible for invoicing, training, user meetings, and contract follow-ups for our external parties utilizing the accessibility database (TD). You will be the contact person and provide advice/guidance for external contractual partners in TD. **About You** In this role, it is important to be service-oriented, meticulous, and driven. Additionally, you need to have the ability to recognize what needs to be done, possess good self-leadership, and work in a structured manner. For the position, you also need to understand various target groups with disabilities and their needs.
