Sanda Assistance was founded in Sandared by our CEO Betty Olsson. We have grown over the years, but our heart remains in the right place. We are therefore seeking someone who wants to make a difference in another person's daily life.

I'm a 34-year-old man living in Tvärred with my partner, our son, and two cats. I'm usually a happy and active person who wants to do most things I feel like, as long as I have the strength and energy. My son is my highest priority, and I want to be as involved as possible. This includes using an assistant to pick him up from preschool in the afternoons as often as I can manage.
It's therefore important that you like children and feel comfortable handling them, or are at least positive about trying to do so. Examples of other activities I enjoy include going outdoors, exercising, cooking, baking, watching football, listening to music, etc. I also enjoy having some personal time occasionally.
I need help with most aspects of my daily life. This ranges from pursuing my interests to dressing and undressing, using the toilet, or showering. I have no problem communicating verbally and in writing. I can partially stand with assistive devices and have all the equipment I need, such as a wheelchair, power wheelchair, sliding board, shower chair, walking frame, and lift. I have my own car that I can drive and also have access to specialized transportation. I have FSHD muscle disease in a severe form, which affects nearly all muscles in the body, progressively weakens me, and causes chronic pain. I also become mentally fatigued due to living with the physical conditions and limitations of the disease.
I'm seeking assistants who want to work daytime hours from 07:00-17:30, primarily Monday-Friday, with potential weekend work requests. I hope the applicant is a perceptive person who can follow instructions. A bonus would be being close to my age, but this isn't a requirement as personality is the deciding factor.
