The Regional Archives now has the opportunity to welcome two archivists to our team. Regional Archives Unit is part of the Information Area, which holds a group-wide coordination responsibility for matters encompassing Region Skåne's business information. The area is the executive archival authority under the Regional Board and employs over 140 employees. The operations include both strategic and operational functions in Region Skåne's central information management, based on our management system for business information (LVI). Norm-setting, information governance, scanning, record-keeping, e-archives, repository operations, and document management are some of our work areas. WORK TASKS As an archivist at the Regional Archives unit, daily work is based on our shared management system for business information, implemented through several processes: archive care, galloping, communication, archive delivery, reporting business information, registering business information, securing digital business information, ensuring digital document accessibility, supervision, and release of public documents and outreach activities. The role's focus is on archive care, delivery, release of public documents, outreach activities, and galloping. Your tasks will include: • Integrated pest management (IPM) and archive facility issues • Releasing public documents • Strategic and operational work regarding management and deliveries from private healthcare providers' journal archives • Planning and participating in outreach activities such as Wednesday cafés and Archives Day • Processing galloping investigations as part of the delivery process towards e-archives Additionally, you will be the contact person for municipal companies where we act as the archival authority. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking candidates with a university/college degree in archive and information science. You have excellent communication skills in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Experience working with archival issues in public administration, including outreach activities and individual archives, is meritorious. It is also advantageous to have experience with information assessments such as preservation and galloping investigations and working with governance documents in the archival field. Experience with case management systems is also considered a plus. The archivist role involves significant personal responsibility and requires strong collaboration skills.
