Job Description As an archivist at the Inspectorate for Strategic Products (ISP), you are part of the archives and registry team. You have a central role in the agency's archive reporting, information management plan, and tasks related to archival screening and digital archiving. Together with another archivist, you will develop and improve work methods in the archival area. In the role of registrar, you provide important support to the agency in matters related to ISP's case and record management system. You handle digital channels and physical incoming mail, scan and register incoming documents, and create case files. Administrative tasks may also be included. Many of the tasks involve working with confidential documents. ISP is in an expansive phase, and the organization is characterized by development. Qualifications • High school diploma • Archival education or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer • 1-2 years of current and relevant work experience as an archivist • Good computer skills and proficiency in the Office suite • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English Merits • Experience with registrar and archival work in a government agency • Experience and/or knowledge of Public Access and Secrecy Act, Administrative Procedure Act, Security Protection Act, and Archives Act Personal Characteristics We are looking for someone who is meticulous and structured in their work approach. Work Group As an archivist and registrar, you belong to the group for personnel, finance, administration, and communication. We are currently 12 people working to support the agency's core operations and are part of the business support unit. We work independently within our respective professions but support and encourage each other within the group. About Employment at ISP The position is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date to be agreed upon. The position includes an obligation to be war-placed. Swedish citizenship is required to work with us. The position is placed in a security class, and a security assessment with register check will be conducted before an employment decision is made. Since a large part of the work involves confidential information, the possibility of remote work is limited. About ISP ISP is a government agency with a foreign policy orientation.
