The Quality and Digitalization Unit brings together parts of the Labor Market Administration's development work, including digitalization, data protection, information management, and projects. Everything we do at the Labor Market Administration aims to help more Uppsala residents achieve long-term self-sufficiency!
The Quality and Digitalization Unit is a support and development function for our core activities: adult education (municipal adult education), labor market initiatives, consumer issues, financial assistance, and reception of newcomers.
The workplace is at the Education and Job Center on Bolandsgatan 4, where we have flexible workspaces. Remote work is possible if the work allows and in agreement with your manager, but we primarily prefer you to be on-site during working hours.
This position is a time-limited employment, until 2027-02-26.
Job Description
In this role, you will coordinate and support operations in archival matters such as digital case files, management, disposal/archiving, and e-archives. Coordinate the work on the administration's information management plan, drive development, and be responsible for regular updates. Support and lead archive coordinators in the administration. Coordinate and be responsible for developing systematic information management based on guidelines developed within Uppsala Municipality. Be the coordinator for the administration's quality management system (KLS). You will monitor the external environment, educate/convey information related to the assignment. The role also involves collaborating and working together with the data protection coordinator (DSS) and the digitalization process leader, who are part of the same unit.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an academic or post-secondary education relevant to the position, preferably in areas related to archival science, information science, or ABM (Archives, Libraries, Museums) or other academic education that the employer deems relevant to the position. The work requires knowledge of the Archives Act, Public Access and Secrecy Act, or other relevant regulations. Good knowledge of digital working methods is also a requirement for the position.
Experience in municipal or state operations, especially in document and information management, is considered meritorious. Experience working with governing documents and routines in quality management systems, practical experience applying the Archives Act, the principle of public access, and secrecy rules, as well as working with document management systems, is also meritorious. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and can handle both analog and digital archives. We prefer candidates with experience working with document management systems, case management systems, and e-archive solutions. It is also meritorious if you have knowledge of classification, record-keeping, and archive reporting according to a business-based structure, information classification, and knowledge of information security for essential services (NIS2 Directive).
