About the Company
Hunter Douglas Scandinavia AB is a leading Swedish player in the sun shading industry, designing and developing its own awning and sun shading systems for both interior and exterior use, as well as products for public environments. The company is headquartered in Alingsås, with production and a central warehouse in Hillerstorp. Additionally, Hunter Douglas has warehouses and manufacturing facilities in Holland and Germany. With over 60 years of experience, Hunter Douglas sells its products to other manufacturers of finished sun shading products, primarily in the Nordic and Baltic regions.
Your Mission
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales with existing customers, actively driving new customer outreach, and identifying new business opportunities. You will present and sell Hunter Douglas’s wide range of hardware and fabrics for interior and exterior sun shading solutions. You will build long-term customer relationships and create new business opportunities through a customer-focused and strategic approach. In this way, you will contribute to strengthening Hunter Douglas's market position and driving further growth.
In your role as Area Sales Manager at Hunter Douglas, you will have an independent and varied position with significant responsibility for moving the business forward. You will be responsible for budget work, reporting, quote management, and contract negotiations. The position includes administration related to the sales process. It is based at the head office in Alingsås and involves approximately 100–150 travel days per year.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education. You have 3–5 years of experience in qualified B2B sales, preferably within technically oriented products or solutions. You possess strong IT skills and system understanding, and are proficient in Excel for analysis, reporting, and calculations. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. Knowledge of German or Finnish is an advantage.
