Your workplace The Rehabilitation Specialist Care unit at Karlstad Central Hospital is part of the health and rehabilitation sector. Approximately 80 employees work in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and music and art therapy within the Rehabilitation Specialist Care unit. Rehabilitation assistants are also employed in the unit. The Rehabilitation Specialist Care unit works with rehabilitation across several clinics at Karlstad Central Hospital, including neurology, geriatrics, oncology, infection, pediatrics, obstetrics, surgery, medicine, orthopedics, and intensive care, among others, in both outpatient and inpatient care. Your responsibilities The role involves conducting occupational therapy assessments, planning and implementing interventions, and following up on progress. The work is characterized by mobility and requires flexibility, as well as the willingness and ability to work both in teams and independently. We believe that healthcare must be based on our patients' needs and our employees' competencies. We aim to advance healthcare together with our staff. Your qualifications and skills We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with an interest in rehabilitation within inpatient care. Experience in specialized inpatient care is an advantage but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. An interest in working within specialized inpatient care is essential.
