Osby Healthcare Center is located in the northeastern part of Skåne, with good commuting opportunities. Osby is situated in a scenic area with many opportunities for outdoor activities. We have approximately 6,500 listed patients, and our aim is to offer security, accessibility, high-quality care, and continuity for our patients.
In the same building as the healthcare center, there is a family center with an open preschool. We operate the family center together with Osby Municipality, where the municipality is responsible for the open preschool and social counseling, and the healthcare center is responsible for child healthcare. This approach allows us to support children and families at the appropriate level based on their living conditions. There is also a nursing home in the same building, for which we largely provide medical support. Collaboration with the municipality's home healthcare and elderly care is highly effective, characterized by short decision-making processes and mutual personal familiarity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now welcoming a licensed occupational therapist.
Here, you will contribute your specific expertise to increase individual independence and participation in daily activities. You will be the first point of contact for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of hand, forearm, and elbow injuries, as well as orthosis fitting and manufacturing.
Job responsibilities also include conducting activity and functional assessments and participating in cognitive evaluations. Prescribing and fitting assistive devices and follow-ups according to the prescription process are also included. Counseling is a central part of your work, both individually and by leading educational programs for various patient groups.
As an occupational therapist with us, we offer you varied work tasks including reception visits, home visits, and group treatments. You will meet patients of all ages and have significant control over your day and schedule while collaborating with other professional categories such as physiotherapists, doctors, and nurses. You will be part of an occupational therapist network within the cluster.

QUALIFICATIONS
You applying should be a licensed occupational therapist authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. As travel is part of the job, a valid B driver's license is mandatory. We consider a few years of professional experience, preferably in primary care, as meritorious.
