In our healthcare team, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists work with LSS housing and supportive housing in social psychiatry. We always focus on the individual and closely collaborate between professions to create good conditions for health, independence, and quality of life.
With us, you make an important contribution – for the individual, for society, and for your fellow human beings. We are a team that values commitment, curiosity, and collegial support. Here, you have space to grow, contribute, and develop.
About the Position
We are now seeking a licensed occupational therapist for a temporary position during the regular occupational therapist's parental leave. We welcome those who enjoy change, see opportunities, and want a role where you make a difference every day.
As an occupational therapist, you will work in a team with nurses, physiotherapists, and other professionals to meet the individual's healthcare needs. You will conduct occupational therapy assessments, plan, implement, and follow up on interventions, and document according to current guidelines. The work is done in close dialogue with the patient, relatives, housing staff, and other actors such as doctors and Habilitation (HAB), where we often play a key role as a link between the individual and the organization.
You will also have an important role in guiding, educating, and supporting care staff and support educators from your professional perspective.
A significant part of the work is relationship building, which means you enjoy making contact, creating, and nurturing relationships. We are looking for someone who thrives in personal interactions and sees the value of long-term collaboration.
We offer work with great freedom – you plan and structure your workday independently, based on the individual's needs and in consultation with your team. For those with a special interest in activity balance, cognitive support, or assistive devices, there are excellent opportunities to delve deeper and shape the work according to your specific competence and drive.
The position is a temporary appointment starting January 12, 2026, or by agreement.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime. Public holidays falling on weekdays are days off.
We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement.
As an employee, you are offered:
Competence development, wellness allowance, discounts and offers via our staff portal, and meaningful work in a secure organization.
Who Are You?
We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist with an interest in development and a rehabilitative approach. You have a B driver's license and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Experience working within LSS or social psychiatry is meritorious. You should have good knowledge of assistive devices and prescription rights.
To thrive in the role, you are a relationship-building and responsible person who enjoys collaborating with others and sees change as something positive. You are structured, attentive, and have a good ability to adapt to individual needs.
You actively contribute to a positive work climate and share our core values.
Results-focused – we do our best for Tyresö residents
