Rehab Väst is a unit within primary healthcare in western Östergötland that offers high-quality rehabilitation to patients in the western part of the county. Our mission is to provide Östgötar with safe, quality-assured, and equitable rehabilitation, regardless of where they live in the region. Currently, we operate at the Hospital in Motala, in Mjölby, and at several health centers in the western part of the county. Rehab Väst has over 80 employees, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, and administrators.
We offer rehabilitation within inpatient care, outpatient care, and primary care. Within primary healthcare in the west, there is close collaboration between the units, creating good conditions for development, participation, and cooperation with other healthcare providers. We also collaborate closely with other rehabilitation organizations in the region. Our operations are characterized by commitment and the desire to develop and improve processes to create added value for the patient. Within Rehab Väst, we support and help each other and are knowledgeable in our professions and missions. We actively work to utilize and develop digital solutions to meet the needs of citizens and the organization.

Job Description
We are now looking for an additional occupational therapist to the inpatient care group at Rehab Väst.
We work with the medical specialist clinic (MSK) on the geriatric acute care ward (GAVA), medical acute care ward (MAVA/MOA), heart unit, stroke unit, and palliative unit. The work involves close collaboration with occupational therapy colleagues, physiotherapists, and the rest of the ward team. You will have a primary placement considering the composition of the group and your competencies and experience.
The assignment as an occupational therapist involves assessing and rehabilitating patients, establishing rehabilitation plans, and participating in rounds. In the role of care coordinator, you play a key role in keeping the team together and in informing, planning, and preparing for discharges. The care coordinator role also includes coordinating the professionals involved so that the patient feels secure before discharge. We document in the Cosmic journal system.
Work Group
The nearest workgroup consists of about 16 colleagues, including occupational and physiotherapists.
About You
We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in rehabilitation within inpatient care and/or care coordination is advantageous. The job requires that you have good language skills in Swedish.
To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. You are flexible, empathetic, and have strong collaborative skills. At the same time, you are structured and can plan your work. You are confident in yourself. With us, it is important that you enjoy working in a team and in close collaboration with colleagues while also being able to work somewhat independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and being the right person for our organization.
