JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking a responsible occupational therapist for our healthcare team! Here, you will be welcomed by friendly colleagues with varying experience in municipal care and support, where we support and help each other. Together, we form a great team of permanent staff. Our team includes nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, cognitive support team, operations developer/system manager, MAS (Medical Responsible Nurse), and operations manager. Important for our team is good collaboration, balance between demands and conditions, patient focus, and the ability to laugh and have fun together at work. As an occupational therapist with us, you will have a flexible and varied job working with patients in ordinary housing, special housing, short-term care, and LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). You will work with freedom and personal responsibility, meaning you will organize your own work and plan according to patients' and the organization's needs. Primary responsibilities include conducting assessments and offering, implementing, and evaluating health and medical interventions required for individual rehabilitation needs. Other job responsibilities include: •Adapting everyday environments and housing •Guiding and educating patients/relatives/care personnel/colleagues as needed •Prescribing various technical aids •Communicating with relatives, other licensed healthcare personnel, and care personnel involved in patient care/rehabilitation The rehabilitation team in Bräcke Municipality consists of three physiotherapists, three occupational therapists, and a rehabilitation assistant. The team meets continuously as a natural hub for collaboration, professional exchange, and to change/develop moving forward. All members play a crucial role in teamwork alongside other professionals such as nurses, care personnel, social workers, and unit managers. Team meetings and care team meetings are forums in the operations where all professionals participate to create good and safe care for our patients. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist with a genuine interest in people. The job requires you to be attentive to individual needs, flexible, responsible, and cooperative, with the ability to lead personnel and provide support and advice in professional matters. We also seek someone with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills towards colleagues, patients, and relatives. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
