Your Responsibilities As an occupational therapist, you will work with the patient's needs at the center, aiming to enable the most independent life possible for each individual. You will be responsible for assessments, personal assistive device prescriptions, housing adaptations, and rehabilitation of patients in ordinary housing. We offer you an active workday with numerous personal interactions. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with physiotherapists and other professionals, such as nurses and care staff. The work consists of varied tasks and patient groups, providing opportunities for diversity and challenges. Documentation and administration are also part of the work. Working hours are daytime, Monday-Friday. Your Workplace In May 2026, Linköping municipality will take over responsibility for home care, home healthcare, home rehabilitation, and needs-assessed safety housing in the southwest area, which includes Lambohov, Skäggetorp, Vikingstad, and Ulrika/Nykil. The work group currently consists of approximately 35 colleagues working in three geographical areas, which will be expanded to four. Together with a physiotherapist, you will be responsible for a home healthcare area and be part of the multiprofessional team with home care managers and staff. We will also take over facilities in Mjärdevi, so depending on your geographical affiliation, you may be placed there. Candidate Profile We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist with professional experience. You should have prior experience rehabilitating elderly populations and experience with assistive device prescriptions. Previous home rehabilitation experience is considered meritorious. The work involves extensive patient contact and documentation, requiring excellent Swedish communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer proficiency and experience documenting in journal systems are necessary. The position requires cycling ability and a B driver's license for manual transmission, as we both cycle and drive during service. We seek a proactive professional who can independently plan and prioritize tasks. You should have a flexible approach, adapt to organizational needs, collaborate easily, and communicate clearly. You are confident, self-aware, and capable of acting professionally.
