Occupational Therapist for Home Rehabilitation at Rehab City

We Are Seeking an Occupational Therapist for Home Rehabilitation! One of Rehab City's units is now seeking an occupational therapist for home rehabilitation. At Rehab City Lidingö, we are nine employees who enjoy teamwork and home visits, and we now need a new occupational therapist. We are located in beautiful premises in Torsvik, near the Lidingö Bridge approach, approximately 2 minutes by bus from Ropsten metro station. We create our own schedules and have flexible working hours. We conduct most home visits together with a team colleague. We drive an electric car for most visits but also have access to bicycles and sometimes walk. Rehab City is part of Stockholm County Healthcare Region, an organization that values creativity and development. At Rehab City Lidingö, we have approximately 30 employees consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, chiropractors, speech therapists, counselors, nursing assistants, and administrators. Job Description: Work is focused on home rehabilitation and includes examination, assessment, assistive device prescription, and treatment/rehabilitation of patients of all ages with varying diagnoses. In home rehabilitation, you help people become as independent as possible in their daily lives. You primarily work in a team with a physiotherapist or dietitian. Here are some occupational therapy-specific tasks: - Individual assessments and prescription and fitting of assistive devices - Assessment and training in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) - Functional and activity assessments in connection with dementia investigations - Cognitive assessments and cognitive assistive device prescriptions - Housing adaptation assessment and certificate writing - Collaboration with relatives, other healthcare providers, home care services, and housing adaptation administrators Student supervision is part of the assignment. Documentation is done in the Take Care journal system. Employment Type: Permanent full-time position (100%). Start date by agreement. Probationary employment may be applied. Qualifications: - Licensed occupational therapist - Driver's license (B) and driving experience required - Must be able to work in patients' homes without sensitivity to pet hair, smoking, strong odors, and other potential allergens Personal Qualities: We place great importance on professional treatment of both patients and colleagues.
