About this role

We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is confident in their professional role. Experience in municipal home healthcare is preferred. The position is located in Frövi, where you will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, and unit managers. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitative interventions within Frövi home care, aimed at promoting the clients' independence and quality of life. You will also encounter patients who do not have municipal services. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your responsibilities will include conducting ADL assessments, implementing rehabilitative measures in the form of activity training, prescribing assistive devices, and assessing the need for home adaptations. The role also involves working with national quality registers to enhance quality assurance for individuals. You will document in the journal system and create rehabilitation plans, participate in care planning/SIP, and provide guidance to care staff. Together with other occupational therapy colleagues, you will supervise students and provide training in transfer techniques as needed. Furthermore, you will collaborate with nurses, unit managers, and care staff through team meetings and unit meetings. This is a full-time, fixed-term position. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist, preferably with professional experience and references that can attest to your competence. A valid driver's license, class B, is required. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is also advantageous if you have: • Training in lifting and transfer techniques. • Experience in training others in lifting and transfer techniques. • Familiarity with the operational system Viva. You are independent both alone and in a group, and you strive to do your utmost for the patients. You are confident in your professional role, engaged, helpful, and accommodating.
