The Rehabilitation Unit at Sollefteå Hospital consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, dietitians, and rehabilitation assistants. We are now seeking an occupational therapist for a permanent position in the Occupational Therapy Department in Sollefteå. The position is a full-time permanent role with a start date to be agreed upon.
Occupational Therapist for the Occupational Therapy Department, Sollefteå
Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist at Sollefteå Hospital, you will work with:
• Patient care both in the ward and in outpatient services.
• Assessment and rehabilitation within day rehabilitation and hand rehabilitation.
• Interprofessional teamwork with other professional categories.
• Assessment of cognition and activity ability in hospitalized patients.
• Promotion of activity ability and prescription of assistive devices as compensatory measures.
• Rehabilitation of patients of various ages with newly acquired illnesses or injuries, primarily neurological conditions, within day rehab.
• Training and assessment of activity and cognitive ability.
• Opportunity to participate in a newly established team for stroke home rehabilitation.
Additional Information
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a licensed occupational therapist.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have:
• Relevant work experience in the field.
• Previous experience working in a hospital.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
