We are seeking an occupational therapist for a shared position between our rehabilitation clinics in Töreboda and Gullspång. At Närhälsan Töreboda and Gullspång rehabilitation clinics, our work groups consist of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff. With commitment and broad expertise, we care for our patients and customers. We now need to strengthen our team with a licensed physiotherapist. Töreboda is beautifully located along the Göta Canal - between Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern. There is a rich community life with activities in sports, culture, and leisure. The nearest major cities are Skövde and Mariestad, approximately 15 minutes away, with well-developed train and bus connections between the locations. Gullspång rehabilitation clinic is located north of Töreboda, next to Lake Vänern. Common conditions you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impact, and mental health issues. The work also involves prescribing assistive devices and documentation for housing adaptations. A personal rehabilitation plan is developed together with the patient. Work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some work can be performed remotely. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups. The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partner organizations. You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the continuous development of the facility. About You You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is meritorious, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs when meeting diverse people. Additionally, you view collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the work, which you perform with commitment and professionalism. You can plan your work effectively and systematically based on the organization's goals. As workload varies and unforeseen events may arise, we seek someone who is flexible and independent.
