About this role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at HMC Lomma. HMC in Lomma is part of the HMC group, which operates healthcare centers, child healthcare (BVC), maternal healthcare, and occupational health services in Lomma, Hjärup, Bjärred, Landskrona, Arlöv, Malmö, and Staffanstorp. We started in Lomma in 2012 and are located in a historic, newly renovated building just a stone's throw from the sea. You can easily reach the office by bike, bus, train (8 minutes by train from Malmö), or car (free parking available at HMC). Our work model is called the HMC model—some of our cornerstones include working closely together in real-time, adopting a value-free approach towards our patients and colleagues, adhering to current evidence/recommendations, and actively working on behavior change for sustainable lifestyle habits. We value good communication and always keep the patient's best interests in focus. With us, you will be part of a wonderful and strong team that enjoys working together and focuses on solutions. All our employees are covered by collective agreements. **About the Position** As an Occupational Therapist, you will work in a team with other professional categories. We focus on the patient to provide continuity, accessibility, and security for each individual. Your tasks will include assessments and treatments related to functional/activity capabilities, assessment and treatment of reduced hand function, as well as the evaluation and prescription of assistive devices. Activity balance, memory assessments, and work capacity evaluations are important components of the Occupational Therapist’s role within the team. The Occupational Therapist will also naturally participate in the rehabilitation team at the healthcare center. Through our senior health initiative, we have extensive collaboration with municipal home care services, which makes experience working with the elderly an asset. We also collaborate with the memory clinic regarding the development of memory assessments. Since home visits are common, we prefer that you have a driver's license. We offer a dynamic workplace with short decision-making paths where you as an employee have the opportunity to influence and develop your work. **About You** - You are a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in primary care. - You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. - You are proficient in using Visma and the PMO journal system. - You feel confident and comfortable in your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a positive working environment. - Since we work with work capacity evaluations and activity balance, it is an advantage if you have training in this area. - You possess a Class B driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to fit into the team. **Scope:** Full-time or by agreement **Employment Type:** Permanent, with a 6-month probationary period **Start Date:** By agreement **Benefits:** wellness allowance, bike benefits, offers on gym memberships at several established fitness facilities, discount at Specsavers. Feel free to visit our website to read more about our clinics, our values, and our mission. We conduct ongoing selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible. We kindly but firmly request no direct contact from staffing, recruitment, or placement companies. We warmly welcome your application!
