The mission of the Social Services Administration is to provide care, support, and assistance to elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and those in need of home healthcare. The administration has approximately 1,700 permanent employees and generates an annual turnover of over one billion SEK. The Social Services Administration is divided into four operational areas: regular housing, special housing, support and service for disabilities, and the health and medical care department. The administration also includes a regulatory unit and a support team with essential functions such as HR, finance, and IT. As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with assessments of activity ability, treatment, and training. The role also involves prescribing assistive devices and providing guidance to care staff from an occupational therapy perspective. In your daily work, you will engage in dialogue with various professionals within the municipality and, among others, with Region Skåne regarding care planning through Mina planer. The group meets collectively at workplace meetings, and in addition, we also hold professional meetings where we gather in our respective professional groups to develop one another and the organization.
