About the Role
As an Occupational Health and Safety Engineer, you will be part of our local Health & Safety team that supports the entire Swedish organization in creating a healthy and safe work environment—from production and warehousing to the head office and the commercial organization. You will work both strategically and operationally, with a strong presence in the operations, close to production where it really matters. As an expert in occupational health and safety, you will be the go-to person for the organization for knowledge, advice, and technical expertise in the field. You will have an important role in driving issues, developing processes, and providing support to both management and employees—always with the goal of strengthening the safety culture and contributing to a safe and sustainable workplace. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the management team and employees in planning, organizing, and maintaining a safe work environment
• Implementing legislation, internal requirements, and standards into local routines and instructions
• Conducting risk assessments and work environment analyses to identify, prevent, and eliminate risks
• Coordinating and following up on internal and external audits
• Being a role model for our safety culture—coaching, inspiring, and creating engagement around safety behaviors
• Supporting and leading investigations of incidents and accidents, ensuring learning and improvement measures
• Identifying and implementing training initiatives within the field of occupational health and safety
• Preparing reports, follow-ups, and communication materials related to work environment and safety
The role reports to the Health & Safety Manager and is based at our site in Jordbro.
Who Are We Looking For?

We prefer that you have:
• An academic background in occupational health and safety, health, or equivalent experience
• Experience working as an occupational health and safety engineer or in a similar role
• Good knowledge of Swedish occupational health and safety legislation
• Experience working with management systems and certifications
• Technical expertise in the field of occupational health and safety, as well as the ability to provide qualified and strategic advice to the organization's various functions
• The ability to lead and drive projects, change, and coach others
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive improvements
• Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English
