HYLTE PAPER AB is one of the most environmentally friendly paper producers with a long and proud history. We produce environmentally certified paper of world-leading quality using raw materials from locally and responsibly managed forests. The mill is located in the inland of Halland, approximately 50 kilometers northeast of Halmstad, with a capacity of around 250,000 tons of paper.

About the Position

In the role of Occupational Health and Safety Engineer, you will support the organization in systematic work environment efforts with your expertise regarding the company's specific work environment.
Your tasks will include:
• Investigation of risk environments
• Work with behavior-based safety
• Conduct risk analyses and safety observations and develop improvement proposals
• Map, measure, and analyze work environment factors and propose actions
• Participation in handling and follow-up of incidents and accidents
• Planning and participation in internal and external ISO audits
• Administration of our management system
• You will also be involved in projects where you will have an active and driving role focused on work environment
The role also involves significant communication both internally and externally, and you will often be the face and representative of the organization regarding work environment.
The position is full-time with work hours during the day.
Who are you?
You are naturally passionate about work environment issues and have an interest in technology.
You are well-versed in current laws and regulations in the work environment area and have an easy time creating new contacts, feeling comfortable communicating in an unpretentious manner with people at all levels.
Given the variation and nature of tasks, the role requires you to be structured, thorough, and organized.
Your Knowledge and Experience
We are seeking someone who is a trained Occupational Health and Safety Engineer or has an equivalent education. You should have at least two years of professional experience in the field, with experience in process industry being advantageous. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English. You also have good computer skills.
