JOB DESCRIPTION Labor Market Strategist with Focus on Front Desk and Business Contacts Do you want to play a key role in Hörby Municipality's work with skills provision and developing the labor market of the future? Hörby Municipality is seeking an outgoing and driven labor market strategist who wants to meet companies on-site and work both strategically and operationally to develop the municipality's labor market initiatives. We are now building the Competence and Guidance Center (KVC), a joint meeting place where employers, students, and job seekers meet. Here, we gather labor market initiatives, adult education, and guidance under one roof to create smart solutions that strengthen Hörby's working life. In the role of labor market strategist, you will become the municipality's primary contact point for the business sector - the person that companies, educational actors, and the Employment Agency turn to when they want to initiate collaboration with Hörby Municipality. In your role, you will closely collaborate with the municipality's other labor market strategist. Your Responsibilities • Serve as the municipality's business contact and actively build and maintain relationships to enable workplace learning, internships, vocational training, and other matches between working life and education. • Represent KVC externally, staff the reception, and guide citizens to the right function or person within the organization. • Design and further develop KVC's front desk into an obvious meeting place where working life, education, and citizens meet. • Organize summer internships and summer jobs for young people in the municipality. • Strategically work with labor market development and skills provision in the municipality. • Analyze labor market trends and needs to develop decision-making bases and future strategies. • Initiate and drive development projects together with companies, educational actors, and public organizations. • Be the contact person for and promote cooperation with the Employment Agency. • Contribute to municipality-wide policies and action plans within labor market and skills development. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Has a relevant college degree, for example in economics, labor market, social analysis, leadership, or similar. • Has several years of experience in labor market issues, business contacts, or strategic development work. • Is social and relationship-building; enjoys networking, visiting companies, and building long-term collaborations. Can inspire municipal citizens towards studies or work on an individual level. • Has analytical ability and experience in developing strategies, forecasts, and decision-making bases. • Is comfortable in a politically governed organization and experienced in communicating with different target groups. • Preferably has experience working with BI tools like Power BI or Qlik Sense.
