Job Responsibilities
We are now seeking a Labor Market Secretary for the Work and Studies Unit 2 who will actively contribute their expertise and energy to help more Malmö residents find employment or pursue studies aimed at work and self-sufficiency. As a Labor Market Secretary in the Labor Market Department, you will conduct mapping, labor market planning, and offer support during interventions or employment for participants in our labor market initiatives. You will be part of a work group of Labor Market Secretaries who, through commitment and knowledge, contribute to achieving the unit's goals.
The Labor Market Secretary role involves:
• Collaborating with others to plan and implement various initiatives
• Preparing, guiding, coaching, and matching participants to become self-sufficient or make progress towards self-sufficiency
• Working with individuals and groups
• Documenting in the Procapita database, including describing and tracking participant progress
• Planning and implementing labor market and study events
• Collaborating with internal and external actors such as social services, Employment Agency, education coordinators, employers in both private and public sectors, etc.
• Participating in the development of organizational initiatives and methods
• Gathering experiences and knowledge in the field, monitoring external developments
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with a university degree in behavioral or social sciences relevant to the position (180 ECTS credits). You must have at least two years of relevant work experience. You have experience in establishing and building relationships to create and maintain good partnerships. You have experience working with and documenting in digital tools.
It is advantageous to have previous experience working in public services. Additionally, preferably through previous experience, you have an extensive network within the business community, public sector, nonprofit sector, etc. It is also merit-worthy to have experience in supporting and matching participants to the labor market and experience with MI or similar methods.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have good computer skills, and it is beneficial to have experience with new digital tools such as Office 365, Skype, SharePoint, Teams, etc. Previous experience with Procapita is advantageous.
