Description The Employment Unit is seeking an Employment Officer, full-time, permanent position. The Employment Unit at Vilhelmina Municipality works to increase employability for individuals who are outside the labor market, focusing on youth and young adults. The unit has several workplaces designed to meet the needs and directions of participants, including Cornelia, the Photo Archive, and the Recreation Bank. The Employment Unit is led by a manager responsible for labor market and adult education. The Employment Officer serves as the entry point for new participants and supports the operational team leaders with a focus on participants' paths to self-sufficiency. The organization also includes Vilhelmina Learning Center, which works with adult education and skills supply, as well as Immigration Services, the municipality's refugee coordination. Responsibilities The Employment Officer guides participants to the Employment Unit's workplaces, to internships, or other initiatives aimed at self-sufficiency. You will also be responsible for the municipal activity responsibility for youth aged 16-20 who are outside of work or studies. You will manage internal contacts within the organization, with authorities, organizations, and companies for planning the reception of new participants. You will be involved in various development projects related to the position and will be part of the unit's management team. You have the ability to meet each individual where they are and see opportunities that promote individual growth. To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, attentive, and possess good leadership qualities. Personal suitability is highly valued for this position. You have a relevant higher education and are qualified in the field. You have the ability to drive projects in a structured and forward-looking manner.
