The Transport and Workshop unit is part of the Technical and Service Administration, and we are now looking for a team leader for our workshop.
In the workshop, we service, repair, wash/recondition, and perform seasonal tire changes on the municipality's approximately 300 vehicles. We also carry out repairs on other vehicles and machinery.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a team leader, you will plan, lead, and distribute the group's work. The role also includes administrative tasks, such as order and invoice management, as well as follow-up on procurements, among other responsibilities. Other tasks that arise within the workshop are also included in the position.
You will help develop the operations and staff based on customer needs and work towards the unit's and municipality's goals. You should have the ability to be part of the management team while also working collaboratively with the team.

We consider good knowledge of vehicles to be a given when applying for this position. However, the most important thing for us is that you possess excellent customer service skills, flexibility, and good collaboration with our customers and colleagues. A key part of our mission is to ensure that all operations within the municipality can travel safely and securely.
The position may also include on-call duties for other parts of the operational activities outside the workshop.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Vocational education in vehicle technology or another technical field, or professional experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• We place high demands on personal suitability.
• Personal qualities: confidence in a leadership role, good communication skills, ability to motivate and support employees, customer focus.
Other requirements:
• B driver's license (manual transmission vehicle).
• Computer skills (Office suite).
• You must be able to take responsibility for your leadership, act with a holistic perspective, and adhere to Marks Municipality's values.
The position is classified as security-sensitive, which means you need to be a Swedish citizen, and we will conduct a security assessment with a background check.
