About this role

The family-owned company NorDan was founded in 1926 and has for nearly 100 years demonstrated how technology, innovation, and creativity result in high quality. Today, the group has grown to approximately 2,200 employees and a turnover of 4.7 billion SEK. We manufacture the windows and doors of the future and are one of the leading manufacturers of energy-efficient solutions in the Nordic region. NorDan AB in Sweden consists of about 280 employees across three factories, with its headquarters in Tanumshede, where approximately 120 people work, of which about 80 are in the local factory. Our operations are characterized by high competence, close collaboration between employees and management, and a culture where improvement, innovation, and participation are at the center. Sustainability, quality, and employee development are fundamental values that permeate everything we do. **About the Role** We are now looking for two new team leaders for our factory. As a team leader, you will be a central link between management and production and a cultural ambassador who inspires collaboration, quality, and results in everything we do. The role also involves being part of the operational factory management, gaining insight into and responsibility for the operational work of the factory management. **Your Responsibilities** Lead, coach, and develop your department and its employees. Act as a bridge between management and production, contributing to the translation of strategic goals into practical work and understanding on both sides. Ensure that production follows planned processes, standards, and quality requirements. Drive continuous improvements in work methods and technology. Ensure that machines, equipment, and tools are used optimally and maintained according to plan. Ensure that work environment, safety, quality, and delivery targets are met. Participate in troubleshooting and provide technical support as needed. Hold authority within the department for work environment, employees, quality, delivery, finance, as well as machines and processes. **We Are Looking For Someone Who** Has a natural ability to build trust and create a positive work environment. Is clear, communicative, and motivating – engages and inspires the team. Thrives with responsibility and decision-making but involves and listens to employees. Has an interest in production, process development, and technical improvements. Has experience in team leadership, preferably in an industrial setting, and knowledge of Lean is an advantage. Has good IT and administrative skills. Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. **What We Offer** As a team leader at NorDan, you will have the opportunity to influence both people and processes. You will be part of a competent team where your contributions make a difference, while also developing your leadership skills and contributing to the factory's continued success. Here, you will work to combine genuine craftsmanship with modern industrial machinery, creating a blend of tradition and technology. We have a strong sense of community at the factory and short decision-making paths, where many thrive for a long time, feel pride, and develop over time. NorDan offers you, among other things, wellness benefits, generous discounts on our own products, and flexible working hours. **Tanum Municipality as a Location** Tanumshede is beautifully situated in northern Bohuslän and offers a combination of stunning coastline, forests, and rich outdoor life. There are both small and large towns, all with good opportunities for outdoor activities, while the commuting distance to Oslo, Gothenburg, and Uddevalla makes it possible to combine work with the offerings of a larger city. The position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date and salary according to agreement. Questions about the position can be answered by Factory Manager Magnus Karlsson, tel: 010-130 02 51. Last application date: December 5, 2025. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, which means that the position may be filled before the application period ends. We warmly welcome your application!
