About this role

About the Employer The family-owned company NorDan was founded in 1926 and has grown into a group with approximately 2,200 employees and a turnover of 4.7 billion SEK. For nearly 100 years, NorDan has demonstrated how technology, innovation, and creativity result in quality. We manufacture the windows and doors of the future. NorDan's Swedish operations are consolidated under the company NorDan AB, which includes sales offices, factories, and administration. The factories are located in Bor, Kvillsfors, and Tanumshede, where the head office is also situated. The company has sales offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Tanum, Malmö, Växjö, and Bor. NorDan AB had a turnover of nearly 1 million SEK in 2023. An Important Employer Our factories are key employers in the local communities where we are established. NorDan AB currently has around 290 employees across management, sales, marketing, production, and product development. Quality by Tradition Since its establishment in 1926, NorDan has produced innovative, high-quality products with wood as the primary raw material. We have a long tradition of quality, as evidenced by our locations in Tanumshede, Bor, and Kvillsfors. European Presence NorDan Group's headquarters is located in Moi, southern Rogaland, Norway. With factories in Norway, Denmark, Poland, and the Baltics, the company covers the door and window market in Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. For NorDan AB, this international presence means that the company exports products from its Swedish factories to other NorDan markets, while NorDan Group's products are sold in the Swedish market. About the Role We are now seeking two new team leaders for our factory. As a team leader, you will be a central link between management and production and a cultural ambassador who inspires collaboration, quality, and results in everything we do. The role also involves being part of the operational factory management team, gaining insight into and responsibility for the operational work of the factory management. Your Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop your department and its employees. Act as a bridge between management and production, contributing to the translation of strategic goals into practical work and mutual understanding. Ensure that production follows planned processes, standards, and quality requirements. Drive continuous improvements in work methods and technology. Ensure that machines, equipment, and tools are used optimally and maintained according to plan. Ensure that work environment, safety, quality, and delivery goals are met. Participate in troubleshooting and provide technical support as needed. Hold authority within the department regarding work environment, employees, quality, delivery, finance, as well as machines and processes. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has a natural ability to build trust and create a positive work environment. Is clear, communicative, and motivating—engaging and inspiring the team. Thrives on responsibility and decision-making but involves and listens to employees. Has an interest in production, process development, and technical improvements. Has experience in team leadership, preferably within industry, and knowledge of Lean is an advantage. Has good IT and administrative skills. Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. What We Offer As a team leader at NorDan, you will have the opportunity to influence both people and processes. You will be part of a competent team where your contributions make a difference, while also developing your leadership skills and contributing to the factory's continued success. Here, you will work at the intersection of genuine craftsmanship and modern industrial machinery, blending tradition and technology. We have a strong sense of community in the factory and short decision-making paths, where many employees thrive for a long time, feel pride, and develop over time. NorDan offers you, among other things, wellness benefits, generous discounts on our products, and flexible working hours. Tanum Municipality as a Location Tanumshede is beautifully situated in northern Bohuslän, offering a combination of stunning coastline, forests, and rich outdoor life. There are both small and large towns, all with good opportunities for outdoor activities, while the commuting distance to Oslo, Gothenburg, and Uddevalla makes it possible to combine work with the offerings of larger cities. The position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date and salary according to agreement. Questions about the position can be answered by Factory Manager Magnus Karlsson, tel: 010-130 02 51. Application deadline: November 28, 2026. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, which means the position may be filled before the application period ends. We warmly welcome your application!
