We Are Now Seeking a Supervisor for Operations and Maintenance at Our Establishment in Gävle
Your Assignment as Supervisor
As a supervisor, you will have a broad and varied role with significant responsibility. You will become a key person in the management of our professional staff and serve as a coordinating contact for our hired resources. The position involves working with operational and maintenance efforts in the Gävle operational area, where you will primarily be responsible for location-based management, planning, control, and follow-up of work.
You will also support the site manager in daily work, which includes customer contacts, digital follow-up, simpler calculation work, and administrative tasks. Additionally, you will drive your own projects, taking responsibility for both execution and finances, and contribute to developing the business by attracting new customers and projects.
The position is located in Gävle and is a permanent full-time employment starting with a 6-month probationary period. Svevia applies individual salary setting. Start date is by agreement.
Since our business is service-oriented, work may also occur during evening and night hours, with standby during summer and winter periods. Winter readiness involves monitoring weather conditions and dispatching salt and snow plow units as needed.
Who Are You?
To succeed in the supervisor role, we are looking for someone who has:
• At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor
• Experience with operations and maintenance work
• B driver's license
• Very good computer skills and interest in digital work methods and processes
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Meriting Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in construction, infrastructure, or water/sewage
• Previous experience with winter preparedness
