About this role

Do you want to help make everyday life easier for the residents of Örebro? The Technical Administration currently has around 350 employees. Our mission is to provide the residents of Örebro with excellent municipal technical services. Environmental considerations, sound economics, and quality are the cornerstones of our operations. We are looking for someone who wants to influence the city's spaces with beautiful parks. About the position We are seeking an experienced team leader in park maintenance for the construction and operations department. We offer a varied role where the primary focus will be on supporting employees in their operational work. You will have additional responsibilities for planning and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. You will work alongside two team leader colleagues, each with their own team of park workers, where you will complement and support the teams in the operational aspects of the team leader role as needed. Examples of tasks: • Inform and instruct employees and be responsible for daily leadership • Represent the organization clearly • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation • Monitor developments within the work area • Work and document in existing operational systems • Develop traffic plans and management oversight • Order materials/machines • Possibly participate in procurement About the workplace Within the Park and Street Operations, approximately 150 employees work across three units focusing on the operation, maintenance, and development of streets, traffic, squares, parks, and parking. We are a development-intensive organization that actively works to enhance our customer dialogue and meet the needs and wishes of the citizens. The construction and operations department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of parks, trees, playgrounds, bridges, industrial tracks, pedestrian and bicycle paths, road constructions, snow removal, ice prevention, asphalt restoration, asphalt maintenance, and new street construction. The department is also responsible for ongoing planning and development within the operational area. As an employee in the Park and Street division of the Technical Administration, you contribute to making everyday life easier for the residents of Örebro. Qualifications You are self-driven and can structure your work effectively. You can collaborate with others but also have the ability to work independently. You need to have a very good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
