The Community Building, Leisure, and Cultural Administration consists of the strategic department, property department, building permit department, street/park operations department, meal service, cleaning service, and leisure and culture. The position is located in the Park Unit. JOB DESCRIPTION As a Park Supervisor, your tasks will be varied and change with the seasons. You will work alongside a team consisting of about 15 employees, depending on the season. In addition to working with team leadership, work planning, and monitoring of operational tasks, you will be part of the team and engage in practical tasks and maintenance activities. The practical tasks may include everything from operating machinery, mowing grass, tree pruning, various service tasks, and more. Together with the unit manager, you will actively work to develop the unit socially, in terms of skills, and in terms of efficiency. You will be responsible for purchasing materials and goods and will participate in planning efforts related to the budget. You will be a cohesive part in planning and prioritizing the unit's daily work. As a supervisor, you, along with the unit manager, safety representative, and workplace representative, will play an active role in our systematic work environment efforts. The role does not have direct personnel responsibility. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant horticultural education, at least a one-year program, combined with several years of experience in park work, or experience that we consider equivalent. You should have experience leading workgroups in daily operations, and it is an advantage if you have any type of supervisory training. You should have several years of experience in the operation and maintenance of public environments and experience working in a public organization. You should also have experience operating machinery and green space equipment, such as lawn mowers, loaders, and tool carriers. Since the role also includes practical tasks, we require you to have training or qualifications in the following: • Brushcutter certification (RA) • Chainsaw certification A and B (E is an advantage) • B driver's license (BE driver's license or extended B driver's license is an advantage) To succeed in this role, you should enjoy working with a mix of both administrative and operational tasks and possess good planning skills and a structured approach to work. You need to be communicative, unpretentious, and collaborative. Your proficiency in the Swedish language is good, both spoken and written.
